Due to the recent demonetization announced by the Modi Government, Wait got a new meaning. For the major part of 50 days, there were lines outside the banks waiting to deposit the old notes, withdraw the new notes, exchange the old notes with the new ones. All these people had to wait in spite of the fact that they had various different tasks. There are other lines where we have to wait. Like in Government offices, Doctor's clinic, Petrol pump, local tickets, marriage, temple etc. Some waiting lines are big, some are small.
In spite of the fact that these waits are inevitable, they have to be dealt with. Many get frustrated with the wait and leave just before their number comes. Some play with their phones, some of them just curse the situation they are in for 90 % of the time. I just wonder how come you improve your situation by just cursing it. There is one idea instead. You are already waiting for something to happen. Instead of cursing the waiting time and the situation, rather give a twist. Start noticing some small things around. There are many things that you can see. You can see the different faces of people, some are confused, some are happy, some are plain sad. You can also watch the different cloth color combination, the different designs on their clothes.
You can also think about some things in this free time. Instead of doing time pass, you may well - enjoy it or use it. We are already lacking in free time due to our busy schedule. This is the best that can happen.
