This one comes straight out of Mann Shakti Kendra Meaning Mind Power Centre. Their office is located at Lonavala which is in between Pune & Mumbai. It is a famous place for weekend getaway. I had gone there once. Their teachings are different, but the core of all is to meditate and work towards social cause. They have different programs for very young children, teenage children, would be parents, adults, etc. They also have different programs for different problems. They have different testing methods to see how are your mental skills - towards anger, jealousy, etc. They have all - one day, two day and three day residential programs and they do not charge very high fees. The stay is also pleasant, eating is also pleasant.
In one of their programs for kids, they give you a formula to teach you how to tackle hard subjects. Hard subjects is really subjective. For some students maths will be hard, for some science and for others language subjects. Whatever the hard subject, they give you a common formula. They tell the students to sit in a particular location and choose a particular subject & particular time to study. For example, for a student who has a tough fight with maths should study that subject in their living room (children can choose any other location) and a time window (say morning 6 am to 7 am). I have not really tried this, because I am not studying anymore. But today a thought occurred and I thought to share it with you.
Similar to children using this method, we can also use this method to meditate, think about the problems, new innovations, solutions to our businesses. If we too choose a single location (Probably it should not be your daily office chair. You can choose different location in office.), some time window and the problem at hand, then you too can find certain magic formula (solution) and go ahead in your field.
This is really a mind power technique because we try to formalize and give subtle suggestions to our mind that we are now tackling with the subject and are serious to subdue it. The subconscious mind is a great listener and even great doer.
