Don't Begin Your Day Until You Finish It

Don't get confused with the title. If you are confused read it again and try to find meaning. When you do anything, you first do it in your mind. For example, you are making tea. When you think of making tea, you do everything first in your mind. You will take water, tea powder, sugar, etc and it is finished within seconds. Then you make it physically. This is for all major activities before doing it. Even for your day to day tasks. Only difference is you don't plan the tasks earlier.

When you start your day, what do you do? Do you start your activities immediately or do you take some time to meditate, think, about short term & long term future. If you plan your day, you will have accomplished what you need to do. But if you just go about it, you will be driven by problems. Instead, take out some time, and plan your day. Finish most of the planning and only then start your day physically. Of course, you need to count on the other issues that crop up like there is new or old customer and he wants to meet urgently. Or there is supplier or some production or marketing issue. But if major part of your day is planned ahead, you will reach moon if you want.
